My client is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will take ownership of financial control, reporting, and day-to-day finance operations, ensuring a strong control environment and the integrity of financial information. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in maintaining robust processes while supporting the wider finance function.You will oversee core finance activities including month-end close, statutory reporting, and transactional finance operations such as accounts payable, receivable, and cash management. A key focus of the role will be reviewing and enhancing existing structures and processes following a recent organisational change, driving efficiency and ensuring alignment with group accounting policies and regulatory requirements.The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with proven experience in a similar leadership role, ideally within a fast-paced or private equity-backed environment.
