This role balances hands-on month-end delivery with the management of a small team and the year-end statutory process.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Control: Lead month-end/year-end close and maintain the General Ledger.Reporting: Prepare Statutory Accounts (UK GAAP/IFRS) and coordinate external audits.Insurance Operations: Manage technical premium/claims reconciliations and IPT/VAT filings.Regulatory Support: Provide financial data for Solvency II Pillar 3 and QRT submissions.Team Leadership: Oversee a small transactional finance team (AP/AR).RequirementsQualification: ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 5+ years PQE.Sector: Mandatory experience in Insurance (London Market or General Insurance).Skills: Strong knowledge of technical insurance accounting and statutory reporting.Commitment: Ability to work on-site in London 3 days per week consistently. #J-18808-Ljbffr
