I have an immediate requirement for an experienced Interim Group Financial Controller to join a circa £250MN turnover business. This is a critical role within the finance function, requiring a hands-on and technically strong finance leader who can bring structure, clarity, and control.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the group through the year-end audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors
Oversee and review statutory accounts across the group structure
Manage and support a small, capable finance team, ensuring high performance and delivery
Navigate a complex intercompany structure, ensuring accuracy and transparency
Strengthen financial controls and processes in a fast-paced, evolving environment Candidate Profile:

Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Having worked as a GFC is a business of £200MN turnover+
Strong technical expertise in audit, tax, and statutory reporting
Comfortable working within complex, multi-entity structures
Hands-on, proactive, and able to deliver at pace in a changing environment
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
