Interim Head of UK Sales


Our client is a luxury, science-led skincare brand, known for delivering clinically backed, results-driven products. With a strong global presence across premium retail, spa and e-commerce channels, the brand is experiencing significant international expansion. The business combines innovation, performance and luxury, with a strong focus on brand integrity and exceptional customer experience.


As Interim Head of Sales for UK, you will be responsible for developing and executing the UK commercial strategy in line with global objectives. Reporting to the Commercial Director UK & EU, you will own the full UK P&L, lead relationships with key national retail partners, and oversee the London-based field and retail team. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, strengthening distribution, and ensuring consistent luxury brand representation across all UK touchpoints.


Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and deliver the UK sales strategy aligned with global business objectives
  • Own UK revenue targets, forecasting and budget management
  • Identify commercial opportunities to expand distribution and increase market share
  • Analyse market trends, consumer insights and competitor activity to inform strategy

Account Management

  • Lead and manage all major UK retail accounts including leading department stores and prestige beauty retailers
  • Negotiate annual trading terms, promotional plans, launch calendars and joint business plans
  • Monitor sales performance, profitability and operational excellence across accounts
  • Build strong, strategic partnerships to drive long-term category growth

Retail Team Leadership

  • Lead, motivate and develop the UK field and retail team, including Business Managers, Training and Retail Specialists
  • Set clear KPIs and ensure strong execution of in-store activity and luxury service standards
  • Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on accountability and clienteling excellence
  • Oversee recruitment, coaching, scheduling and productivity initiatives

Trade Marketing & Activation

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing on retail campaigns, launches and activation plans
  • Ensure consistent execution of visual merchandising and brand guidelines
  • Evaluate return on investment for events, animations and promotional activity

Operational & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Supply Chain on forecasting, stock management and replenishment efficiency
  • Work with Education teams on training strategy, service excellence and retailer education
  • Liaise with Finance on margins, account performance and commercial analysis

Experience Requirements

  • Proven senior sales leadership experience within luxury beauty, skincare or premium retail
  • Strong track record managing UK national retailers and department stores
  • Demonstrated success leading and scaling retail or field-based teams
  • Excellent commercial acumen with a history of driving revenue growth
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Highly analytical with a data-driven approach to decision making
  • Genuine passion for luxury skincare and delivering exceptional customer experience
