Internal Sales Executive – Account Growth & Business Development Location: Weybridge, Surrey Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships but is equally motivated by winning new business. You will inherit an established customer base but the role goes far beyond account management. The Role As an Internal Sales Executive you will manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers while also identifying new opportunities within dormant and competitor accounts. This role requires someone who is commercially focused, proactive, and comfortable driving conversations that lead to sales. Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customer accounts Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products Re-engage dormant accounts and bring customers back to the business Proactively contact companies currently purchasing from competitors Follow up enquiries and quotations to convert opportunities into salesMaintain regular communication with customers via phone and email Prepare tailored quotations and maintain accurate CRM records Monitor account activity and identify growth opportunities Produce clear sales reports for management
What We’re Looking For
Experience in internal sales, account management, or business development Comfortable being proactive on the phone and driving sales conversations Motivated by winning business and achieving targets Strong relationship-building skills Commercially minded and results-focused Organised with strong attention to detail Experience using CRM systems
