This is an ideal opportunity for someone starting out in their career, or a recent school leaver / graduate, who has an interest in food, science or quality and is looking to gain hands-on experience within the food manufacturing industry.Full training will be provided, making this role well suited to candidates keen to learn and develop within a technical or QA environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSampling and testing of raw materials in line with quality proceduresCarrying out routine quality tests, including:Sugar solidspH testingColour checksWater activity (AW)Spread testingYeast and mould testingAccurately recording and logging results on internal quality systemsAssisting with the creation and maintenance of quality documentation and certificatesSupporting the team in maintaining high food safety and quality standardsAbout YouA genuine interest in building a career within food manufacturing, quality assurance, or food scienceBasic understanding or interest in food, nutrition, science or raw materialsEducated in food science or a related subject OR experience working within food manufacturing, production, catering, or hospitality would be desirableWillingness to learn, reliable and able to follow proceduresGood attention to detail and a methodical approach to workInterested?
