This is an excellent opportunity for a talented Junior Sous Chef to join a highly regarded, food-led Modern British restaurant located on the outskirts of Billericay. The kitchen is led by an experienced and respected Head Chef with a strong focus on modern techniques, seasonal produce, and high-quality ingredients.
The restaurant produces food to a 2AA Rosette standard , showcasing refined Modern British cuisine with creative, seasonal menus and a strong emphasis on presentation and flavour.
There is a positive team culture and supportive kitchen environment, with a focus on consistency, creativity, and professional development. As Junior Sous Chef, you will be confident running your own section, supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef, and helping maintain the highest culinary standards. You will communicate effectively with the team and lead by example during busy services.
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience at Junior Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie level in a quality fresh-food kitchen
Be passionate about Modern British cuisine and seasonal ingredients
Be confident running sections and supporting junior chefs
Thrive in a fast-paced, professional kitchen
Be motivated, reliable, and eager to progress
