What we need from you:
You will need previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant, street food, or fast-paced hospitality setting
Experience in supervising or leading a team within a kitchen environment
Strong cooking skills with a good understanding of food preparation and presentation
Hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene/Food Safety certificate and have a solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
The ability to work well under pressure during busy service periods
Excellent communication and leadership skills
A proactive, organised approach with a positive, can-do attitude
A genuine passion for food and delivering a great customer experience
You must be within commuting distance of Lincoln centre
What the role involves:
You will be responsible for overseeing the daily kitchen operation, ensuring food is prepared and served to a consistently high standard. Duties will include:
Maintain records and operate the kitchen online with EHO (Environmental Health Officer) 5-star standards
Leading and supporting the kitchen team during service
Preparing and cooking menu items in line with company standards
Ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation is maintained at all times
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and reducing waste
Supporting with staff training and development
Monitoring performance and helping to improve overall service delivery
Salary: £15.00 per hour, increasing after probation period.
Hours: This is a full-time role (minimum 40 hours per week). Shifts are worked across 7 days, with start times between 10:00am11:00am and finish times between 11:00pm12:00 midnight. xehkeey Days and hours will be agreed in line with business needs.
