Location: Sutton Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm Position: Full‑time
Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their best? We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistants to work with students who have Autism and Behavioural Needs within a warm and inclusive specialist school.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Offer tailored 1:1 or small‑group support to learners with additional needs. Encourage positive communication, independence, and social interaction. Work alongside teachers to create a calm, structured, and engaging learning space. Assist students in managing challenging behaviour using positive and proactive strategies.
What We're Looking For
We would love to hear from individuals who are:
Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping children with SEN. Confident communicators who build strong relationships. Experienced in Autism or behavioural needs (helpful but not essential). Team players with a proactive, supportive, and resilient approach.

Requirements
Eligibility to work in the UK. An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one). Experience is an advantage, but a positive attitude, reliability, and the desire to help are the most important qualities.
