Teaching Assistant - Primary Schools (Muswell Hill Area) | Full-Time | ASAP or September Start

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role in a supportive and welcoming primary school environment?

We are currently recruiting on behalf of several fantastic primary schools in the Muswell Hill area who are seeking dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistants to join their teams as soon as possible or September 2026.

These schools are known for their supportive leadership, inclusive environments, and strong commitment to pupil development. This is a full-time role (8:30am - 3:30pm) and would suit someone passionate about helping children reach their full potential.

The Role

Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

Delivering and reinforcing phonics interventions

Providing behaviour support to ensure a positive learning environment

Supporting children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)

Working closely with class teachers and SEN staff to support learning and progress

Taking initiative and being proactive in the classroom

The Ideal Candidate

Experienced Teaching Assistant with primary school experience

Strong knowledge of phonics programmes

Experience supporting pupils with SEND

Confident in behaviour management strategies

Proactive, reliable and able to use initiative

Passionate about supporting children's learning and wellbeing
