Aspire People is working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Salford, who are looking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS1.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with young learners and supporting early reading, writing, and numeracy development.

The Role:

Supporting pupils within the classroom alongside the class teacher

Working with small groups to reinforce phonics, reading, and basic maths

Providing additional support to pupils who may need help staying focused

Supporting classroom routines and transitions

Helping to create a calm, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

Supporting behaviour and social development

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification

Has recent experience working in a UK primary school

Has a nurturing, patient, and positive approach

Is confident supporting KS1-aged children

Works well as part of a team and takes initiative
