Aspire People are currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in North Manchester. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity supporting pupils within Key Stage 1.

The school has a strong leadership team and a supportive staff culture where collaboration and pupil progress are central to everything they do.

The Role:

Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging KS1 lessons.

Working with small groups to reinforce phonics, reading and early maths skills.

Providing targeted intervention support for pupils working below age-related expectations.

Assisting with classroom preparation and resource organisation.

Supporting positive behaviour and promoting a safe learning environment.

Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

Has recent experience working in a UK primary school.

Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.

Confident supporting phonics (Read Write Inc or similar desirable).

Proactive, reliable and able to work as part of a team.
