The Role:
Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging KS1 lessons.
Working with small groups to reinforce phonics, reading and early maths skills.
Providing targeted intervention support for pupils working below age-related expectations.
Assisting with classroom preparation and resource organisation.
Supporting positive behaviour and promoting a safe learning environment.
Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Has recent experience working in a UK primary school.
Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
Confident supporting phonics (Read Write Inc or similar desirable).
Proactive, reliable and able to work as part of a team.
