Adam Bernard Solicitors is seeking a confident, commercially aware, and experienced Civil Litigation Solicitor (minimum 3 years PQE) to join our growing East London office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor who enjoys managing their own caseload independently while working within a supportive and fast-paced legal environment.
The Role
You will manage a diverse and engaging caseload including:
Civil litigation matters
Landlord & tenant disputes (possession, rent arrears, disrepair, tenancy issues)
Housing matters
General dispute resolution
You will be responsible for handling matters from initial instruction through to conclusion, including:
Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and court applications
Complying with court directions and procedural deadlines
Conducting legal research and advising clients strategically
Attending hearings and, where appropriate, conducting advocacy
Maintaining proactive and professional client communication
Working towards agreed billing and performance targets
Requirements
Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
Minimum 3 years PQE in civil litigation
Strong experience in landlord & tenant matters
Ability to independently manage a full caseload
Excellent drafting and advocacy skills
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Commercial awareness and client-focused approach
