If youre an electrically qualified Maintenance Technician looking for a varied role where your work genuinely supports essential services, this Electrical Maintenance Technician position offers stability, responsibility and long-term development within a healthcare setting.Working as part of a small, skilled team, your role will focus primarily on building services electrical work, while also supporting mechanical, plumbing and wider facilities tasks across site.Whats in it for you Salary of £38,000 £45,000 pa plus time off in lieu or overtime available for call outs 37.5 hour working week Structured on call rota (1 week in 3) with standby and emergency call outs Opportunity to deputise for the Senior Technician Ongoing training and development The chance to work within a supportive, team focused environmentAs Electrical Maintenance Technician youll be: Delivering planned preventative maintenance across electrical and building services systems Undertaking reactive fault finding and first-line repairs on site services and equipment Supporting minor improvement works and facilities upgrades Monitoring contractors and ensuring compliance with legislation and policy Managing building management systems and helpdesk processesOccasional travel to the Orpington site and local retail sites will be required, so a clean driving licence is essential.To succeed as Electrical Maintenance Technician youll bring: Recognised electrical apprenticeship and City & Guilds Level 3 (18th Edition or equivalent) Experience within a commercial or industrial maintenance environment Strong fault finding ability Experience supervising specialist contractors Willingness to participate in an on call rota and work at height Basic IT confidence for helpdesk and reporting systemsExperience within healthcare, BMS systems or cross discipline working is advantageous but not essential.If youre ready to take ownership and contribute to a vital facilities function as an Electrical Maintenance Technician, apply online now to be considered.JBRP1_UKTJ
