Role: Maintenance Manager

Location: Desford, Leicestershire

Rate: £38.50 Umbrella (Inside IR35) OR £27.50 PAYE

Duration: 12 months

Hours:

• Monday to Wednesday 6am - 2:30pm
• Thursday 6am - 2pm
• Friday 6am – 12pm

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join an Automotive Manufacturer near Leicester. You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to support production and maintain compliance with safety, quality, and cost standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily meetings, present updates on safety, quality, and cost metrics.
• Monitor and report on maintenance KPIs.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Ensure timely execution of work orders and allocate resources effectively.
• Create action plans to address gaps in maintenance performance.
• Manage and develop a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.

Requirements:

• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Maintenance planning and execution within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to analyse data and make decisions based on KPIs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Level 3 equivalent qualification in engineering
