Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician, principally based at our client's two East London Build to Rent developments, is a key part of our client's residents services team helping to provide an exceptional level of customer service and a hands-on approach to the resident journey. The main function of the role is to ensure that the apartments, the building, systems and equipment are kept in a safe working con dition and maintained to the highest standard. There is an on-call requirement for emergency situations. The primary on-call contact is the Resident Services Manager, who would contact the Maintenance Technician if appropriate. A flexible approach to the needs of the business and requirement to assist with extra hours or change in normal working pattern if required during busy periods. For example, there may be a requirement to work at a weekend. Any additional hours for on-call emergency situations or weekend working will be compensated with time in lieu or overtime as requested.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure apartments are maintained to a high standard between tenancies, including painting and decorating and checking appliances Respond to urgent and non-urgent maintenance issues in a timely manner and liaise with and assist Resident Services Manager where specific replacement parts may be needed Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the building including ele...
