Job Description

We are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join a well established Build to Rent residential property operation in London.


This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in residential maintenance and compliance, who takes pride in delivering excellent service standards within a modern living environment.


You will support the day to day upkeep of a high quality residential development, ensuring properties, communal areas and building systems are maintained safely and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across apartments and communal areas
  • Complete compliance checks and maintain accurate maintenance and safety records
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with apartment turnarounds, inspections, and basic refurbishment works
  • Support health & safety procedures and ensure building compliance standards are met
  • Liaise with residents, contractors, and on-site teams to ensure works are completed efficiently
  • Monitor and report maintenance issues, defects, and compliance requirements


About You

  • Previous experience in residential, build to rent, student accommodation or high end property environments
  • Strong understanding of maintenance compliance and reporting processes
  • Good all round maintenance skills (basic plumbing, decorating, repairs, etc.)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Organised with strong administrative ability
  • Comfortable working independently within a busy operational environment


Salary

£32,00 - £34,000 per annum


Additional Information

  • Full-time, on site position
  • Occasional weekend work may be required based on operational needs
  • Immediate or short notice availability preferred
