Male Support Worker

Support Worker Pay rate: £14.18 per hour (weekly or monthly pay)
Shift pattern: 08:00am- 18:00pm and 10:00am -20:00pm

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small team supporting an individual with autism, complex clinical needs and behaviours that may present as challenging and they rely on a consistent team who truly understand them.
This person loves getting out and making the most of life.Whether its a day trip, a walk around town, a bit of shopping, or a visit to the park, staying active and engaged is a big part of their routine. From time to time, they also enjoy heading out for a meal and even the occasional pint.
They live independently in their own home and have access to a car, so being able to drive and holding a full UK driving licence is essential . Youll be supporting them to attend important activities such as music therapy and hydrotherapy, so you'll need to be confident in water .
What youll be doing As a Support Worker, youll play an important role in helping this individual live safely, comfortably, and in a way that reflects their preferences. Your day might include:
Providing high-quality support on a 2:1 basis or 1:1 basis
Creating opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the community
Encouraging social interaction and promoting emotional wellbeing
Supporting communication in the way that works best for them
Helping with routine household tasks to maintain a calm, organised environment
