Robert Half are partnering leading property and real estate business based in central London. With a strong global presence, they provide a number of comprehensive services including management and transactions for commercial, residential, and rural properties.


They are now looking to hire a part-qualified Management Accountant to join their finance department.


Role

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant will support on preparation of monthly reporting whilst leveraging data analysis skills to drive commercial insights & decision making.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the production of monthly management accounts, including reconciliations, journals and insightful commentary for stakeholders.
  • Analyse financial performance and cost variances, identifying risks, opportunities and key trends.
  • Assist with forecasting and budgeting to support divisional decision-making.
  • Use SQL and advanced Excel to extract, analyse and present financial and operational data.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity, providing accurate insights to support business performance.
  • Identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities within finance.
  • Act as a key finance business partner, supporting stakeholders with financial and data-related queries.


Profile

The ideal profile for this Management Accountant position, should have the following:

  • Part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA or similar).
  • A strong blend of accounting and data analytics knowledge.
  • Proficiency in owning management account & month-end procedures.
  • Advanced proficiency and knowledge with Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills - capable of communicating with non-finance stakeholders.
  • Previous experience working with SQL and PowerBI is desirable.
  • Industry background in property/real estate is desirable.


Salary and Package

£45,000 - £50,000 + additional benefits including:

The salary range/rates of pay are dependent upon your experience, qualifications, and training.
