Responsible for supervising and managing the operation of the installation’s marine systems and associated equipment in accordance with design, UKCS legislation, classification society rules and flag state legislation.
Key Responsibilities Responsible for the safe and cost-effective operation and maintenance of the installation’s marine systems with minimal environmental impact. Ensure thorough knowledge of the operating safety case and performance standards ensuring that asset integrity is maintained. Act as the Responsible Person/Area Authority for all operations in the Marine Department requiring a work permit and ensure that all safety precautions are taken and the work is carried out safely. Ensure all risks in the marine system and associated operations are identified, and procedures are established and implemented. Ensure knowledge of safety requirements, including work permit systems, operational and emergency procedures, Company policies and instructions; and ensure that they are understood by all marine department personnel. Communicate closely with the HSE Advisor on HSEQ matters.
