• Responsible for the safe and cost-effective operation and maintenance of the installation’s marine systems with minimal environmental impact. • Ensure thorough knowledge of the operating safety case and performance standards ensuring that asset integrity is maintained. • Act as the Responsible Person/Area Authority for all operations in the Marine Department requiring a work permit and ensure that all safety precautions are taken and the work is carried out safely. • Ensure all risks in the marine system and associated operations are identified, and procedures are established and implemented. • Ensure knowledge of safety requirements, including work permit systems, operational and emergency procedures, Company policies and instructions; and ensure that they are understood by all marine department personnel. • Communicate closely with the HSE Advisor on HSEQ matters. • Provide guidance to all staff in matters pertaining to safe working practices in compliance with the installation’s Safety Management Systems (SMS). • Maintain accurate records and ensure that all manuals and drawings are kept current, ensuring that any updates are highlighted and sent to Document Control for pro...
