A high-achieving Grammar school in Rainham is seeking a dedicated and confident Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from ASAP until the end of the academic year in July.
This is an excellent opportunity to teach in a structured, academically focused environment where students are motivated and standards of behaviour and achievement are consistently high. The school is looking for a reliable specialist who can provide continuity and high-quality teaching during this period.
Maths Teacher responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS3–KS4 (KS5 advantageous)
Plan, mark and assess in line with departmental expectations
Support student progress and attainment through structured teaching
Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic focus
Contribute to the wider Maths department and school community
Maths Teacher requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or similar recognised in the UK
Experience teaching Maths in a secondary setting
Ability to commit to full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking
Strong classroom management suited to a Grammar school environment
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
