Mechanical Assembly Labourers – Renewable Energy Projects

We are currently recruiting for experienced Mechanical Assembly Labourers to support installation works on large-scale renewable energy projects across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing sector within renewable infrastructure, working as part of installation teams delivering mechanical assembly and structural installation works on site.

The Role

You will be working as part of an installation team responsible for mechanical assembly and structural installation tasks, including:

Mechanical assembly of steel and aluminium structures

*

Bolting, fixing and installing mechanical components

*

Supporting installation of structural systems and equipment

*

Using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently

*

Working from installation drawings and instructions

*

Maintaining health and safety standards on site

*

Working outdoors as part of a team environment

Requirements

*

Previous mechanical assembly or installation experience

*

Experience using hand tools and mechanical fixing equipment

*

Construction site experience preferred

*

CSCS Card (minimum requirement)

*

Ability to work in a physically demanding, outdoor environment

*

Strong teamwork and reliability

Desirable Experience (but not essential)

*

Solar installation / renewable energy projects

*

Steel structure assembly

*

Mechanical fitter’s mate background

*

Cladding / façade / glazing installation

*

Modular build or structural installation experience
