Mechanical Assembler role in St Albans - IMMEDIATE START
Covering absence for 4 weeks - possibly longer!
Free parking is on site and you will be working within a close, small team. You must be able to commute to AL1.
Hours are fairly flexible but you will work 40 hours per week and can start between 07:00 and 09:00.
Working in a Production/Engineering environment and reporting to the Workshop Manager theduties include assembling components and sub‑assemblies, fitting, aligning and testing parts, drilling, tapping, deburring, bench fitting, and ensuring finished parts meet quality standards.
You will have experience in using tools and ideally mechanical assembely experience. Electrical experience or panel wiring exposurewoudl be preferred.
Experience in semi‑automatic lathes, machine metal components to precise tolerances, read engineering drawings, and use micrometers, calipers, and gauges as a bonus but not essential.
