My client is a globally recognized, market-leading Tier 1 M&E contractor with extensive experience delivering high-profile projects across the UK and Europe. They specialise in a wide range of sectors, including major commercial, healthcare, and mission-critical developments.

They are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to oversee the pre-construction and delivery of a large-scale commercial new build project in central London worth £20mil M&E. This project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2027.

Package & Benefits:

Basic salary: £80,000 - £85,000 Travel Expenses 21 days annual leave + bank holidays (rises in service) Generous pension scheme

Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead the mechanical construction planning, including defining scope, sequencing, resource planning, and scheduling of works. Manage and coordinate all mechanical site activities, including ductwork, pipework, plant installation, and commissioning phases. Supervise subcontractors and direct labour to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. Liaise with the design and engineering teams to review mechanical drawings and resolve any technical queries or design issues on-site. Monitor mechanical progress on site against programme, driving productivity and flagging any delays or risks. Ensure mechanical installations meet all relevant codes, regulations, and company quality control procedures. Oversee health and safety practices related to mechanical works, ensuring full compliance across all activities. Support project reporting, inspections, snagging, and system handovers through to project completion.
