My client is a globally recognized, market-leading Tier 1 M&E contractor with extensive experience delivering high-profile projects across the UK and Europe. They specialise in a wide range of sectors, including major commercial, healthcare, and mission-critical developments.

They are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to oversee the pre-construction and delivery of a large-scale commercial new build project in central London worth £20mil M&E. This project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2027.

Package & Benefits:

• Basic salary: £80,000 - £85,000
• Travel Expenses
• 21 days annual leave + bank holidays (rises in service)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the mechanical construction planning, including defining scope, sequencing, resource planning, and scheduling of works.
• Manage and coordinate all mechanical site activities, including ductwork, pipework, plant installation, and commissioning phases.
• Supervise subcontractors and direct labour to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
• Liaise with the design and engineering teams to review mechanical drawings and resolve any technical queries or design issues on-site.
• Monitor mechanical progress on site against programme, driving productivity and flagging any delays or risks.
• Ensure mechanical installations meet all relevant codes, regulations, and company quality control procedures.
• Oversee health and safety practices related to mechanical works, ensuring full compliance across all activities.
• Support project reporting, inspections, snagging, and system handovers through to project completion.
