We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Plumbing & Heating Contracts Manager to join our clients team based out of their office near to Accrington!

Our client is a well established, successful and expanding commercial plumbing & heating company looking to appoint a contracts manager to oversea it's design and build projects.

We are pleased to be able to offer this role on a permanent basis. Therefore, if successful you'll be employed directly by our client on a full time, permanent contract.

What you'll be doing:

You'll be responsible for setting up, running and completing on clients commercial plumbing and heating contracts.

Majority of the work is design and build so the ideal candidate would be someone from a mechanical design and build background when it comes to plumbing and heating systems.

You'll be required to:

  • Manage teams on the ground completing the work, ensuring work is completed to the best standard.
  • Review mechanical drawings to ensure client specifications have been met, it's compliant and accurate.
  • The ordering / supply of plant, materials and associated equipment.
  • Liaise with clients and internal management as to progress and flag/deal with any issues.
  • Ensure each project is delivered upon, on time and in budget.
  • Occasional site visits / client meetings.
  • Subcontractor management.
  • Working with on site supervisors.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

No weekend working is required.

Pay:

£65,000.00 - £75,000.00 per year, depending on experience + perks.

Experience required:

  • At least 3 years as a Contracts Manager within the plumbing and heating sector, focusing on D&B projects.
  • Degree/HNC in Mechanical Engineering OR Building Services OR a related Discipline.
  • Experience managing multiple contracts, varying in size, complexity and value.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
