Job Role: Mechanical Design Engineer\n\nLocation: Leicester (LE4) - Office Based\n\nWorking Hours: 40 Hours\n\nSalary: £40-55k\n\nJob Type: Full Time / Permanent\n\nThe Role\n\nA Role has become available for a Mechanical Design Engineer at an Engineering company based in Leicester. The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing products relating to Crushing and Screening Equipment. Using computer-aided design software such as AutoCAD(2D) and Pro/Engineer(3D).\n\nEssential Job Responsibilities:\n\nCreate detailed design documents and drawings.\n\nCreate designs to enhance current production machines performance and aesthetics.\n\nAnnalise design and build technical solutions that deliver our client's goal.\n\nWork to develop, manufacture and market the crushing products.\n\nEstimate time and costs required to complete projects.\n\nThe Candidate\n\nStrong experience in either AutoCAD(2D) and Pro/Engineer(3D) - Essential.\n\nExperience of new product drawings - Essential.\n\nExperience of large machinery products.\n\nProactive and able to manage own workload.\n\nExcellent communication skills.\n\nOrganised with a good attention to detail.\n\nAble to meet critical deadlines.\n\nTeam orientated.\n\nClient Overview\n\nOur client is a structural engineering company that specialises in the design and manufacture of mild steel industrial machinery
