Contract Mechanical Design / Project Engineer **\n Manchester / Salford / Northwest region\n £37.50 - £42.50p/h DOE – Outside IR35 (Limited Co. suitable)\n\n Monday to Friday (40hrs p/w)\n\n Minimum 6-month contract (likely extension)\n\nAre you a self-starting Mechanical Design / Project Engineer with a passion for design projects from concept to manufacture? Join a market-leading engineering projects company that specialises in supplying bespoke process and special purpose machinery to high-end technology, food manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries.\n\nAs part of a dynamic and forward-thinking design & projects team, you'll take ownership of design projects from initial concept through to completion, working on unique, cutting-edge process equipment for key blue-chip multi- customers.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\n\n * Leading the full lifecycle of mechanical design projects, from site surveys, concept designs through detail design for manufacture.\n\n * Producing high-quality 2D drawing utilising AutoCAD 2D, & 3D CAD models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.\n\n * Designing process equipment and fabrications for production lines as well as associated pipework and platforms (full package design)\n\n * Liaising with clients, project managers, and engineering teams to ensure successful design project delivery.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\n * Minimum HNC Mechanical Engineering\n\n * Strong experience in AutoCAD 2D and 3D Solidworks\n\n * A proven track record of managing design projects independently through to manufacture.\n\n * A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a genuine passion for design project delivery\n\n * Excellent communication and organisational skills\n\n * Experience & flexible to visit customer sites to measure up for initial design concept\n\n * Process industry experience – pharma / FMCG / Food / Beverage\n\nWhat’s On Offer:\n\n * A collaborative, innovation-led culture\n\n * Opportunities to work on diverse, technical projects\n\n * Good long-term contract – Outside IR35\n\n * Any travel fully expensed\n\nIf you're looking to join a forward-thinking engineering project company with the ability to lead designs, we want to hear from you.\n\n Interested?\n\nSend your CV to the G Force Recruitment team via CV Library.
