Mechanical Project Manager\nLocation: Greater Leicester Area (with flexible hybrid working within 1.5 hours of Leicester)\nEmployment Type: Full-time\nRole Overview\nWe are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Project Manager to join our team and lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of mechanical and building services projects. This role involves managing procurement activities, overseeing budget forecasts, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, driving project efficiency and maintaining alignment with company objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\n * Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical and building services projects, from planning through to delivery.\n * Coordinate procurement processes, including sourcing materials, evaluating suppliers, and managing purchase orders.\n * Oversee project budgets, forecasting costs, and ensuring financial targets are met.\n * Monitor project progress, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements are achieved.\n * Work collaboratively with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.\n * Maintain high standards of health and safety across all project activities.\n * Prepare project reports, documentation, and technical submissions as required.\n * Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and performance.\nQualifications & Skills\n * Strong proficiency in Building Services and Mechanical Engineering.\n * Demonstrated experience in procurement, cost management, and project budgeting.\n * Solid technical understanding of mechanical building services, with a willingness to learn additional building services disciplines.\n * Proven track record in managing projects efficiently and delivering on schedule.\n * Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\n * Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations.\n * Building Services qualifications in a relevant specialist field.\n * Previous experience working on commercial or end-user building services projects is advantageous
