This role offers the opportunity to take full responsibility for the delivery of mechanical building services projects, from pre-construction through to completion and handover.

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will lead projects commercially and operationally, managing programmes, budgets, resources, and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

You will work closely with senior leadership, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Candidate should live within ~35–40 minutes of the office Minimum ~5 years' experience in mechanical building services Apprenticeship background preferred Acceptable disciplines: HVAC/AC, ventilation, gas, heating/domestic mechanical services HNC/HND in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering is considered beneficial Practical site experience preferred Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems and MEP project delivery Basic Design capabilities and the ability to develop and produce concept designs Proven ability to manage mechanical projects from design coordination through to commissioning and handover Good commercial awareness, including cost control, procurement, and subcontractor management Confident communicator with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Highly organised with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities What will your role look like? Take full ownership of mechanical packages across MEP projects Participate in site visits, concept development, basic design input, costing, client interaction, and project delivery Plan, manage, and deliver projects to agreed programmes, budgets, and quality standards Lead and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and specialist subcontractors to ensure seamless delivery Work alongside project managers, estimating teams, and external CAD resources Manage project documentation, including programmes, RAMS, technical submissions, and progress reports Oversee procurement strategies, approve material orders, and manage supplier and subcontractor performance Monitor site activities, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards Chair and attend client meetings, providing clear progress updates and managing expectations Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems including gas, heating, domestic water, drainage, ventilation and air conditioning Support and mentor junior engineers and site teams where required What's next? xehkeey It's easy!
