With a collaborative approach and commitment to excellence, they work across multiple sectors, providing mechanical and electrical solutions from design through to handover.This role offers the opportunity to take full responsibility for the delivery of mechanical building services projects, from pre-construction through to completion and handover. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will lead projects commercially and operationally, managing programmes, budgets, resources, and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. You will work closely with senior leadership, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.What's in it for you? Candidate should live within ~35–40 minutes of the officeMinimum ~5 years' experience in mechanical building servicesApprenticeship background preferredAcceptable disciplines: HVAC/AC, ventilation, gas, heating/domestic mechanical servicesHNC/HND in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering is considered beneficialPractical site experience preferredStrong understanding of mechanical building services systems and MEP project deliveryBasic Design capabilities and the ability to develop and produce concept designsProven ability to manage mechanical projects from design coordination through to commissioning and handoverGood commercial awareness, including cost control, procurement, and subcontractor managementConfident communicator with strong leadership and stakeholder management skillsHighly organised with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities What will your role look like? Take full ownership of mechanical packages across MEP projectsParticipate in site visits, concept development, basic design input, costing, client interaction, and project deliveryPlan, manage, and deliver projects to agreed programmes, budgets, and quality standardsLead and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and specialist subcontractors to ensure seamless deliveryWork alongside project managers, estimating teams, and external CAD resourcesManage project documentation, including programmes, RAMS, technical submissions, and progress reportsOversee procurement strategies, approve material orders, and manage supplier and subcontractor performanceMonitor site activities, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standardsChair and attend client meetings, providing clear progress updates and managing expectationsOversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems including gas, heating, domestic water, drainage, ventilation and air conditioningSupport and mentor junior engineers and site teams where required What's next?
