Duties
Perform MIG welding on various components, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
Utilise MIG welding techniques as needed for specific projects.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components from blueprints or drawings.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
Work with sheet metal to create precise cuts and shapes for assembly.
Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
Proven experience in MIG welding and fabrication
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Experience in assembly processes related to metalwork is advantageous.
