Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer\n\n(Mechanical or Electrical bias considered)\n\nLocation: Leeds\nSalary range:£52,000 - £58,000 + Benefits\nWorking hours: 12-hour shifts (days and nights)\n\nPermanent contract\n\nPlease note: Sponsorship is not available for this role.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of production equipment by carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities. You will work closely with operations teams to minimise downtime and improve machine performance. \n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen to join a large, well-established manufacturing business with modern facilities in the Leeds area.

Due to expansion and increased staffing across shift teams, we are currently recruiting 05 Maintenance Engineers to support operations within a highly automated production environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPerform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on production equipment\n\nDiagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults\n\nWork with automated and PLC-controlled machinery\n\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives across the site\n\nEnsure all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with company standards\n\nCollaborate with engineering and production teams to maximise equipment reliability\n\nRequirements\n\nExperience working in a large manufacturing or industrial environment with complex machinery\n\nMulti-skilled maintenance background (mechanical or electrical bias considered)\n\nCandidates with strong mechanical experience and an electrical qualification are also encouraged to apply\n\nExperience with PLC systems would be highly advantageous\n\nRelevant engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC/HND or equivalent)\n\nBenefits\n\nPension matching up to 6%\n\n12-hour shifts (days and nights)\n\nOpportunity for overtime\n\nPotential relocation support available for the right candidate\n\nInterested in this role?
