Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Birmingham

£36k - £41k (Depending on Experience) + Weekend Overtime.

Core Hours are Monday to Friday - Earlies and Late shifts (no nights)

We're looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join a global supplier of textiles and circular services.

This role is ideal for a Maintenance Engineer who enjoys

What you'll be doing

PPM and Reactive Maintenance on a wide range of mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment Facilities Maintenance rectification and improvement work Ensuring a timely-handover between shifts Improving the performance and longevity of machinery and equipment Upholding the highest levels of Health and Safety standards

What you'll need

50:50 Multiskilled Maintenance Skillset OR Electrically weighted skillset 18th Edition Excellent understanding of Hydraulic and Pneumatic machinery & equipment Ability to electrically fault-find to the component level Industry-recognized qualification (NVQ / C&G Level 3) FMCG background or similar (desirable)

About you

Self-motivated and proactive A team-player - able to support a close-knit maintenance team Able to work independently as/when required Confident in servicing and repairing a wide array of machinery, equipment and facility entities
