The Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, the National Account Manager is responsible for driving the commercial performance of Skin Rocks across Space NK, Liberty, Brown Thomas, and future UK retail partners. You will lead account planning, forecasting, trading, promotional execution and relationship management, and oversee all in-store education and retail field teams to ensure a consistent, elevated brand experience across every retail door. This role requires a strong commercial leader who can confidently drive ambitious retail sales targets through strategic planning, exceptional execution and close collaboration with both internal teams and retail partners. It is a pivotal role for our next stage of growth — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced scale-up environment, builds strong cross-functional relationships and is highly proactive in driving results.


Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Commercial Strategy

·       Own the full P&L for Space NK, Liberty and Brown Thomas, including forecasting, trading, promotions, margin management and stock planning.

·       Develop and execute annual joint business plans with each retailer.

·       Identify commercial opportunities across core, newness and exclusives to maximise productivity per door and online.

·       Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with retailers.

·       Monitor sell-in and sell-through performance and shape proactive actions to optimise results.

·       Build strong relationships with buying, merchandising, marketing and commercial teams across all partners.

Retail Expansion & New Partnerships

·       Lead the evaluation and onboarding of potential new retail accounts in the UK and internationally.

·       Build launch plans for new doors including forecasting, training, staffing, merchandising and marketing activation.

·       Ensure all retail partners meet Skin Rocks’ brand, operational and execution standards.

Retail Education & Team Leadership

·       Line manage the National Sales and Training Manager and the wider retail field team (Brand Ambassadors, Liberty teams, etc.).

·       Ensure education strategy supports commercial objectives, including conversion training, brand storytelling and product expertise.

·       Support recruitment, scheduling, training and performance management of retail field teams.

·       Partner with education to drive consistently excellent in-store execution.

Retail Marketing & Activation

·       Partner with the Retail Marketing Coordinator (dotted-line reporting) to plan and execute retail launches, events, sampling, animations and promotional campaigns.

·       Align marketing and visual merchandising plans with retailer expectations and brand equity.

·       Ensure all retail execution, messaging and assets are consistent across every partner.

Operational Excellence

·       Partner with Supply Chain to maintain healthy stock levels and support accurate retailer forecasts.

·       Ensure compliance across merchandising, testers, visual standards and education materials.

·       Track and report weekly KPI performance, including sell-in, sell-through, door productivity, staffing performance and education KPIs.


Skills & Experience Required

·       5+ years’ experience in National Account Management or senior commercial roles within beauty, skincare or premium retail.

·       Strong commercial acumen with proven success in hitting revenue targets and managing P&L lines.

·       Demonstrated ability to drive ambitious retail sales targets.

·       Experience working with Space NK, Liberty, Brown Thomas or similar premium retailers. International retail experience is desirable.

·       Strong relationship builder with experience partnering across buying, marketing, operations and education teams.

·       Experience managing field or education teams at regional or national level.

·       Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage fast-changing priorities.

·       Proactive, solutions-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-moving scale-up environment.

·       Passionate about beauty, skincare and creating exceptional customer experiences.

·       The role will require travel across the UK retail estate, with potential for international travel in the future.

Annual Basic Salary: circa £70,000 plus commission.
