National Account Manager

New Today

Job Description

Want to be part of a rapidly growing drinks brand that genuinely puts health and wellbeing first? Looking for real retail account exposure or the autonomy to put your own stamp on something?

We’re currently partnered with a standout brand in the branded healthy drinks space, a business that quite frankly, is getting everything right right now. They’re taking the market by storm and have ambitious plans to grow by 40% this year. With the sales talent already in place, that target looks more than achievable.

As part of their next phase of growth, they’re looking to add a National Account Manager to their retail team. You’ll have responsibility across Asda, Co-op, Booths and Ocado. These accounts are in a solid position, but there’s significant untapped opportunity making this a brilliant role for someone keen to drive growth and truly make their mark. As the business continues to scale, progression opportunities will naturally follow. Given their track record, that next step won’t be far away.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Sales, making this role equally suitable for someone stepping up and looking for strong development, or for a more established NAM who wants autonomy, ownership and the chance to really get stuck in.

Previous experience on these specific accounts isn’t essential. What is essential is energy, tenacity and resilience, if you bring those, this business will back you. (Yes, I did briefly consider applying myself.)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Full P&L responsibility across Retail, Convenience, Discounter or Wholesale accounts
  • Identifying and staying ahead of emerging market and consumer trends
  • Influencing core range decisions and NPD development
  • Building strong, long-term customer partnerships
  • Driving sustainable, profitable growth across your account base

Who You Are

  • Proven experience growing accounts in any arena
  • Strong commercial acumen and numerical proficiency
  • Skilled negotiator focused on building long-term partnerships
  • Proactive and independent worker in fast-paced environments
  • Team player ready to collaborate and engage in hands-on tasks
  • Excellent communicator with a straightforward and friendly approach
