Our client, a well-established IT solutions provider, is expanding their Professional Services team and is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support the delivery of customer-facing infrastructure and networking projects.
This role is suited to an engineer with strong routing, switching, LAN and WLAN experience who enjoys working across multiple customer environments and contributing to project delivery from design validation through to implementation and handover. You will work closely with senior consultants, project managers, and customers to deliver high-quality network and infrastructure solutions.
The Role
As a Network Engineer Professional Services , you will be responsible for delivering and supporting a range of customer projects, including network installations, upgrades, and modern workplace initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering network-focused installation and upgrade projects, both on-site and remotely.
Implementing and supporting LAN, WLAN, routing and switching solutions across customer environments.
Conducting WiFi surveys , design validation, and assisting with the rollout of enterprise-grade wireless networks.
Installing, configuring, and upgrading network infrastructure as part of wider IT and cloud transformation projects.
Supporting modern workplace and cloud initiatives, including Microsoft 365 deployments, migrations, and security configuration.
Working with Windows Server and Active Directory environments as part of network-integrated projects.
Reviewing and validating technical designs produced during presales and contributing to project planning activities.
Ensuring solutions are fully tested, documented, and handed over to support teams or customers.
Producing clear, professional technical documentation and installation reports.
Managing your own workload across multiple projects, escalating risks or issues where appropriate.
Collaborating with colleagues to share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement within the Professional Services team.

Microsoft 365 administration and tenant configuration.
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
Windows Server environments.
Active Directory configuration and support.
Firewall or network security experience is beneficial but not essential.
Additional Information
Primarily office- and customer-site-based, with some remote working depending on project requirements.
Occasional out-of-hours work may be required to support project deployments.
A full UK driving licence is essential due to travel between customer sites.
