Health and Safety Advisor

Band 6 (£41,608 - £50,702 pro rata per annum)

18.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS Grampian Corporate Health and Safety Team. We are seeking a competent health and safety professional with a relevant degree and either a NEBOSH qualification or equivalent experience. We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate significant experience working in a health and safety role and are proactive and enthusiastic about promoting a positive health and safety culture.

Although candidates will be based on the Foresterhill Campus, candidates must possess a full driving licence as travelling to and from other locations will be required. Working hours are 18.5 per week, split across Monday to Friday during regular business hours. However, the exact pattern would be discussed and agreed upon and be cognisant of service needs upon appointment. Some aspects of the role may require home working.

The advert will close on 5 August 2025 and interviews will take place on 19 August 2025 in person face to face. Please note that this post may close early if sufficient applications are received before the closing date.

This is a fixed term position until 27th February 2026. Secondments must be supported by your Line Manager, prior to application.
