A well-established childrens nursery in Hendon is seeking a passionate and qualified Nursery Teacher / Early Years Teacher to join their experienced early years team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a QTS or EYTS qualified teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and wants to make a real impact in a supportive and well-resourced nursery environment.

The nursery offers a large, thriving setting where children are encouraged to learn through play, develop independence, and build strong foundations for their future learning.

The Role Nursery Teacher / Early Years Teacher

As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years education and care, supporting childrens development through engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

You will work closely with colleagues and parents to create a positive learning environment that supports every childs individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support childrens learning, development, and wellbeing
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
  • Act as a positive role model for children and colleagues
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the nursery team
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection
  • Monitor and support childrens progress and development

Requirements

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or EYTS (Early Years Teacher Status) required
  • Experience working in an early years or nursery setting
  • Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures
  • Passion for early years education and childcare
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach
