Job Title:

Occupational Therapist (Band 6 associate/locum/self-employed)

Part time to full time, minimum 3 days per week (18 hours minimum).

Term time to full time contract, with a minimum of 38 weeks per year.

Long term role.

Ideally the candidate would reside in Hampshire or will be willing to relocate to this area. Farnborough / Basingstoke / Winchester / Southampton areas are covered by our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Band 6 paediatric OT to join our exciting and growing practice.

Deliver assessments and treatment for children aged 2, right up to young adults, aged 25.

Services are either delivered in the community in schools, or the client’s home, or in our clinic. We still occasionally deliver services online.

The majority of our clients are on the autistic spectrum, many with sensory needs as well as learning disabilities, specific learning difficulties and other co-occurring conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Undertake OT assessments either in-house or in the community

• Report writing and drawing up of treatment recommendations and therapy goals, ensuring regular re-evaluation of progress to the required standard
