Role: Operations Management Accountant - Full Time

Location: Merseyside We're working with a leading food manufacturing business to recruit an Operations Management Accountant for their Merseyside site. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with operations, using financial insight to improve performance, drive efficiencies, and support decision-making on site. This isn't just reporting - you'll be out on the floor, understanding the drivers behind the numbers and helping the business make better, faster decisions. Key Responsibilities Partner with production teams to improve operational performance and efficiency Deliver weekly forecasts, performance analysis, and variance reporting Provide insight at daily operational meetings Support product costing and pricing decisions Investigate variances and identify key drivers and improvement areas Contribute to budgets and reforecasts Support Capex tracking and financial evaluation Assist with weekly and monthly accounts What We're Looking For Studying towards CIMA or ACCA Experience in manufacturing or FMCG finance Strong Excel and analytical skills xehkeey ERP system experience (SAP desirable) Confident communicator who can work closely with operations Proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment The Opportunity A great chance to step into a commercially focused role where you can influence real operational outcomes, gain exposure across the site, and develop your career within a growing business.
