Role: Operations Management Accountant - Full Time

We're working with a leading food manufacturing business to recruit an Operations Management Accountant for their Merseyside site. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with operations, using financial insight to improve performance, drive efficiencies, and support decision-making on site.

This isn't just reporting - you'll be out on the floor, understanding the drivers behind the numbers and helping the business make better, faster decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with production teams to improve operational performance and efficiency
• Deliver weekly forecasts, performance analysis, and variance reporting
• Provide insight at daily operational meetings
• Support product costing and pricing decisions
• Investigate variances and identify key drivers and improvement areas
• Contribute to budgets and reforecasts
• Support Capex tracking and financial evaluation
• Assist with weekly and monthly accounts

What We're Looking For

• Studying towards CIMA or ACCA
• Experience in manufacturing or FMCG finance
• Strong Excel and analytical skills xbpsjku
• ERP system experience (SAP desirable)
• Confident communicator who can work closely with operations
• Proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
