Operations Coordinator

New Yesterday

Our client, a well-regarded independent school in Cambridge, is looking for an Operations Coordinator on a full-time, permanent basis.

Main duties include:

Help run school events, including planning, staffing, and logistics

*

Support projects to improve the school’s facilities and spaces

*

Work with maintenance and IT teams to keep operations running smoothly

*

Track small building and repair projects and report progress

*

Manage contractors and ensure residential property checks are done

*

Oversee school transport and external providers, ensuring safety and compliance

*

Help maintain site security and support emergency planning

*

Support sustainability efforts, including monitoring energy use

The successful candidate:

*

Experience in operations, facilities, or project support

*

Well-organised and able to handle multiple tasks

*

Good communication skills, written and verbal

*

Confident liaising with teams and external suppliers

*

Professional, proactive, and reliable

*

Comfortable using Microsoft Office
