The Role Be part of a fast-growing, innovation-led SPF skincare brand as Operations Director to drive operational excellence, based in London. Responsibilities
Operations & Supply Chain
Oversee all aspects of the supply chain including raw materials, packaging and 3PL Manage relationships with manufacturing partners ensuring timely production and delivery Ensure compliance with international regulatory and legal requirements for SPF and skincare products (with external advisers) Lead demand planning and inventory management, optimising stock levels across all channels Drive cost efficiency and scalability in operational processes Implement and continuously improve SOPs to support rapid growth
Commercial & Strategic
Own and manage operational budgets and contribute to broader company P&L Collaborate closely with sales, retail and marketing teams to align operational execution with commercial goals Support new product development (NPD) launches ensuring timely sourcing, production and fulfilment Lead the operational planning of go-to-market campaigns aligning supply with forecasted demand to maximise profitability Manage the development and execution of artwork, packaging and compliance Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail and distribution partners
Team Leadership & Performance
Build, manage and mentor a high-performing operations team Set and track key KPIs across operations, supply chain and logistics Use data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement across the function
How You’ll Dazzle Us You’ll bring 7-10 years’ experience in senior operations roles within beauty, skincare or personal care, ideally in a high-growth or scale-up environment. You’ll combine operational expertise with commercial acumen and a hands-on approach, thriving in a fast-paced setting. Your track record in demand planning, new product launches, supply chain management and stakeholder leadership will be second to none. Proficiency with MRP/MPS systems and experience across international markets will be a strong advantage.
