• Design and implement customised orthodontic appliances such as braces, aligners, and retainers.
• Utilise medical imaging tools to diagnose and monitor treatment progress accurately.
• Monitor patient progress throughout treatment, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices related to orthodontic appliances and overall dental health.
• Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain detailed records of patient treatments in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay informed about advancements in orthodontic technology and techniques through continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Orthodontist with recognised certification or registration within the UK.
• Proven experience in designing and applying orthodontic appliances using CAD technology.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, particularly relating to facial bones and dental structures.
• Proficiency in interpreting medical imaging such as X-rays, 3D scans, and other diagnostic tools.
• Prior experience working with digital design software for orthodontic appliance creation is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to patients of all ages.
