A prestigious US law firm in London is hiring a Paralegal to join its growing Finance practice.

The successful candidate will support a busy Finance team on major cross-border transactions, working closely with partners and associates. This role offers significant exposure and development, with the opportunity to build a long-term pathway within finance law.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting fee earners on high yield and leveraged finance matters

• Assisting with drafting packs and transaction documentation

• Managing and updating deal trackers and checklists

• Coordinating signatures and closing deliverables

• Preparing closing sets / deal bibles

• Liaising with internal teams, clients and external counsel

• General transactional support in a fast-paced environment

Candidate profile

• Strong academics (degree-level, ideally 2:1 or above)

• A genuine interest in finance / capital markets / transactional work

• Prior legal work experience, internships or vac schemes are beneficial

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Proactive, ambitious and eager to learn

• Confident communicator with a professional manner
