A-Zero Architects is seeking a Part 2 Architectural Assistant with an interest in sustainable design to join our team.

Our portfolio includes residential, commercial, and cultural projects — all united by a commitment to thoughtful design and environmental responsibility. We enjoy seeing our work through from concept to completion, so the successful candidate will gain valuable experience across all RIBA work stages — ideal preparation for Part 3.

The ideal candidate will:

have a good understanding of iterative design process.
be technically rigourous, particularly in the design of low-carbon buildings. We are open to support training for the successful candidate.
have strong digital skills – we use Autocad, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhino. Analogue skills have their place too – we sketch and build models.
be comfortable working both collaboratively and independently in a studio environment. We are a small team, and responsibilities are shared.

Our studio is located in a quiet, cobbled courtyard in Elephant & Castle — a space for creativity, collaboration, and focus. We work fours days in the studio, and one day from site or home.
