Payroll Specialist - Perm - Hybrid - London - up to £250 per day

Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be partnered with an investment banking firm, looking for a Payroll Specialist, on a interim basis. The detail oriented Payroll Specialist will take full ownership of UK/ Germany payroll operations, responsible for managing approximately 150 employees, on monthly pay runs. This role is on a hybrid basis consisting of 3 days in their London office.

The Payroll Specialist will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:
Effective and efficient processing of the payrolls from start to end for multiple jurisdictions and entities by delivering accurate results to agreed timescales.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with country legislations.
Have knowledge and work effectively within a managed service provider model.
Be key point of contact with the managed service provider in respect of the specific payrolls.
Producing final payroll reports to enable the Management Accounting Team to post the monthly payroll journals.
Provide commentary and analysis as part of monthly and yearly payroll reconciliations.
Key Skills:
4+ years of experience working within UK or German payroll markets
Ability to effectively manage personal workload, including understanding priorities, delivering to tight timelines and managing customer expectations.
Able to work in a complex structure, fast-paced environment that constantly evolves and has a can do attitude
Demonstrate understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures.
The ability to take ownership and work independently within a team environment.
Excellent communication skills
